Hi am wondering what the effect of spacers will be on the handling does adding them make a noticable difference?

What sort of set up should i look for?

Cool, what sort of size is the best? i see alot of people rocking the 10 mm? Where do you get the longer bolts from? I have had a look at halfords and they dont seem to have any long enough.

It really depends on the width and offset of your wheels.

Thanks alot would you say the wider the better or is there a limit? 20 mm all round sounds quite nice to me!
Can you get long locking wheel nuts?

Does it effect your turning circle?

FYI i have the standard LCR rims set up standard.

Cheers!

leave the fornts as they are mate, the lcr has a wider fornt track, youll be evening the track out by spacing the rear

10mm, 20mm total rear track widening is the favoured and no issues with rubbing etc..

you can get longer locking bolts, think badger 5 may do them.

you want a 40mm long bolt, the lcr is 27mm oem, so plus 10mm is 37mm, 40mm is the closest.

He does 40's as I ordered a set last week......

He has a section 'Badger5' in the sponsors section so you could always ask on there :)

the bolts from the ebay spacers are 40mm, correct size for lcr.

If you buy bolts seperatly there M14 x 1.5 although if you buy a kit will obviously come with correct bolts.

40mm wide track might cause bit of rubbing?

I have 20s on the back of mine - reason being I had to put 15's up front so my alloys would clear my brakes.

It's lowered on Eibach springs and yes, the tyres rub the arches when you've got people in the back.

I have solved the issue by not giving people lifts.

I was actually thinking of maybe running 215s on the back instead of 225s, I think that would eliminate the problem, I just don't like the idea of having less rubber on the road.
