Tom, you need to rule it out by trying another ECU really. I had to drive from Poole to Revo HQ to get mine fixed by Kev.

The drive isn't a problem, i'm looking to see if they are willing to help.

Did you try a different ECU?

I have a spare ECU, so will try it, but i'm a little wary about the swapping of the ECU. But like you say, i've gotta prove it.

Kev was good enough to give up his free time to help with my issue, it helps that I've known him as a friend for a good few years now

Cool, Its getting annoying now, cos its been ongoing for so long, and i'm busy outside of work time with other commitments, so i'm trying to fit that in aswell.

I will try the other ECU, i think i may have a guide for swapping the ECU, somewhere.

i dont think its hard to swap the ecu's, i havent done it on a ibiza but have done it on other cars, your more than welcome to try mine if u like...... but it has the apr map on it,
