glad to here its back phil, i wont be in trax as arranged, keeping my cash for euro fest plus none of the boys from bridgend are going, apart from dave wid the 16v, get a good few miles on it and il toast u round castle combe!

I'm not going now either... tracking is all a **** so getting it sorted thursday at Mototec.

And rogers think you will need to learn to drive before you toast phil! Heard about you in yours missus lupo gti not getting away from kitney's vtr :whistle:

Tom, heres one for you...

Do i keep my 6x9's and rear strut brace or do i remove them and fit the sub an amp...


Rogers, theyre standard strut caps for 1.8t's.

Hmmm, not sure, but i want dibs on what ever doesnt go in.

If you fit the sub, dump the 6x9's, and fit some componants in the back. Best sound i've heard is 2 sets of componants and a sub.

I think the ARB should tighten things up, so not sure how much more the Rear brace would do.

Cheers boys, i'm happy with it so far. Just gotta look at the timing marks of the belt to check its right as i'm convinced its out a tooth as i'm gettin a camshaft position sensor fault code.

Replaced the PCV on Sunday morning, and my 19mm bung arrived this morning, so may have the Catch Tank fitted tonight / next few days.

Replaced the PCV? Why? We blocked the connection to the inlet mani.

Tom, alpine 4 channel amp, stealth box with alpine sub and fusion wiring kit, 160 quid. Bargain.

Cool. Im gettin all braided hoses soon for mine. Ditch all the crappy pipework etc...

I'm a bit tempted to buy Craig's ProAlloy fmic as well..
