just got back from a spot of "mild motorsport" down newport, cops turned up (on the clearway) and blocked it off so some cars doubled back on the one way road and buggered off with a feable attempt by the police to try and catch them in a transit, funny but dont condone it at all!

I heard it was all kicking off last night, one of the boys in work, the guy with the PPP scooby seen them in the services on the M4 causing a nuisance.

Yeah i am. I've just found a large port AGU head so i'm gonna build that up and port and polish it with some nice valves. So i'm thinkin something silly next year. GT35 maybe. The engine will take 500bhp all day. But i might be kidding myself, will probably stay with GT28 sized turbos, not sure if i'll go eliminator yet as the spool looks quite sluggish. Maybe top mount tubular mani with a GT30 tubby would be the answer. lol.

Who knows. I might even sell it when it comes back if it pisses me off.

Anyone else have problems with their exhaust, after fitting the DP? Mine's knocking on the rear exhaust support on the mid box, Not as bad as at first, as we ground abit of the support away, and also i've adjusted the exhaust again. And will be doing it again this weekend, gonna push the back section further forward.

Anyone got any underneath shots of their car? LOL

Grrr, Phil, car was the same this morning with the MAF unplugged, idleing rough, and very jerky.

I'm starting to hate this car!

guys, i've got a problem with my cupra, think my turbo might be dying or something. put your foot down in 4th or 5th after a half an hour drive and the turbo just stops, and then you run naturally aspirated until you reset the ecu by turning ignition off then back on. then it boosts again. most annoying problem ever. any chance one of you guys could take a look? someone PLEASE give me a text 07866 446625

Tom, buy a proper maf first. Then try a 4bar.

Good work, if its not that then i reckon you have stage 2 and need a 4 bar.

I just cant work out what else its gonna be. WG duty % looks ok as if it hasnt got a boost leak. No other codes except lean, which means its your maf or fuelling.

If you have 3 bar on stage 2 it will run lean, which might be your cause. I dont know until you try a proper bosch maf.

I'll still need to reset the car wont I,
Refit new maf, then disco battery, reconnect battery, and drive, that sound right?
If this doesnt fix it then its a 4bar 2moz from Grant.
