My car is completely different to Daves.

I was running stage 2 and N75J, dave was on stage 1 without a TIP.

Of course its gonna be inconsistant if your not comparing eggs with eggs.


Sort your settings, stage 2 it and run decent fuel and run on the sw-cc day again and see what you get. I bet you get what i had.

i reckon i would do too but it would be nothing to do with the changes i've made LOL. the point i was trying to make is that the output differences dont match the realistic (though estimated) gains from the differences between various cars.

not going back again, prob not gonna run it ever again. 9 months time it'll be for sale.

I dont understand your reasoning behind figures carl, just coz i car has the mods and is 'supposed' to get the figures doesnt mean it should. IMO, your figures are still spot on, and the only one i have questioning about on Grants rollers is/was Martyns. Something wasnt right with that one. Every other car has been spot on for the logs in the past 10/12 months.

Im always sceptical but don't make anything of it.
Martyn made 228 with same mods as me + ATP manifold when mine made 221?
Ran again last month and made the same figures, low but at least consistent.
Admitedly also on HB7T7 where as martyns was HB9T9 with Millers...

I was running T8 at guestec, but i'll still swear that the car ran *much* better on T6 than T7, let alone 8 (no pull logged on vag-com). Still recon it'll of made the same power if not more than the so called 'custom' mapped cars. If I still had the car now i'd be tweaking the actuator to get more out of it as even on HB9 the N75 duty was low (77%)

Good call, when last checking my duty was down to 75% at top end of rev range since changing N75. Fettling could possibly be done

Going to try another log in a few mins it's had a week or two to adapt. Might have a fiddle with the actuator and relog and see how it looks.

Turn it 3 times and see how it goes, watch your boost gauge with a beedy eye tho.

was surprised mine didnt make the 200 mark at guesstec but it comes down to other variables like tyres etc, wouldnt worry about it karl!

Again Phil, cheers or the help last night, car ran well for about 10mins, then was only boosting to about 5psi, no engine light either.
Will check all the hoses this weekend, if i get a chance.

Anyone know anything about Vtune?? Been reading about Lemmiwinks, and Vtune comes up a number of times!

vtune is for APR iirc

as said i said though im not bothered by results (though it might seem i'm bitter ) but from now on im gonna be having a laugh when debates arise

anyway...my tracking is out so i must have lost 15bhp from that alone!!

I think anymore adjustment would have me limping from overboost. Already seeing a 23-24Psi Spike which is only going to get worse when spooling on WOT at low rpm. Martyn suggested a few turns the other way might get more top end but obv going to drop the peak back. Can understand the later but not why it would sustain more top end..

Ahh, try knocking it back then. Didnt know you was gettin that spike. I';m seeing 2540mbar on my spike.

Its your maf figure which is weird tho, you tried some of that dielectric grease to see if the contact improves or something.

im so confused with all this talk of revo, i cant adjust mine with my map, the vtune system doesnt work on the ibiza map,

phil have u adjusted your actuator?

No Phil, but ive had 2 MAFs! Might be worth trying somebody's that is known to flow well

Anyone know if Leighton still works at Bosch, or anyone who does work there, incase ineed a new MAF.
Also, anyone aware of anywhere to get a pre cat lambda sensor, for a good price?? I've looked, but we are loking at like £80
