Mine lives in Laindon at my parents house in their garage and only comes out when it's sunny and for trackdays really (been there since November).
I see a couple of silver ones and a red one around Bas sometimes. I think there is another yellow one in Wickford.

One of those is probably me lol Yeah i saw a red one in pitsea recently as it goes prob same one. Had some kind of white vinyl or decal down the side

Oh nice! Garage i take my car to is on canvey, VW autoworks. Check him out as he knows his way around these cars (petrol and diesel)
Also apparently there is some kind of car meet at night down by morrisons area at weekends but i havnt been to it, could be a laugh!
Heard of them but this is the first VW I've owned. There's usually meets down at morrisons most weeks unless there's a bigger meet elsewhere. I remember when I worked at the McDonalds and literally everyone would be round the drive thru at 12am-2am

Yeah thats probably it mate, i havnt been to any meets or street racing around here since i was around 17/18 (30 now) down old paycocke road. that **** was crazy back in the day.
I would've loved that! I'm only 20 and unfortunately missed out on the Max Power days! Really into old Fords &Vauxhalls (70's - 90's). Never thought I'd own a Leon til I saw this gem pop up for the right price.
I can only imagine how hilarious it looks to someone younger but back in the day max power was the sh*t lmao. I remember watching two mk1 escorts drift around a mini roundabout with a crowd of like 100 people clapping. I got my Leon in December and always wanted one. If you ever need a spare set of hands mate hit me up!

It looked great haha, I have a few of the DVD's somewhere of max power that I used to watch growing up, I just like the whole idea of each car was "unique" in it's own way. Nowadays we just get financed cars that all look the same sat in a car park doing nothing. Might take you up on that offer at somepoint, thinking about putting a body kit onto mine and getting rid of the plastic trim and maybe a few other ideas here and there
