Yeah I fitted Polo rears to my old Cordy, they fit fine!

There was a set of colour coded handles on eBay the other day, they went for a shocking £5!

Note, it doesn't matter if they're off a classic or not, handles off all MK4/5 Polos and MK3 Golfs fit. I think the Golf one might need adjusting a bit but the Polo ones look better.

Sorry to dig this one up from the depths but thats what you get for searching!

Is there any reason i shouldn't just take my existing handles off (all 4 of them!), prep them and spray them?

Obvioulsy other than the fact my car wouldnt have any locks on it for the duration of the exercise - how long would the paint/lacquer take to go off? - I might just do the back door handles that i've already got on there and source new delocked ones for the front.

i got 2 rear mk4 polo ones off of ebay for £9 delivered for my old mk2. which was good, fitted perfectly, just didnt have barrels.

The sun was shining on these when i took them so they look a bit poorer than they looked in the flesh, took about a days work, doing it slowly..

washing them
prepping them
wet & dry paper
primer
rub down
primer
coat one
rub out any imperfections
coat 2..
coat 3..
lacquer for a few stages

They're MK3 Golf ones - they're squarer at the edges.

Did they go straight on? I know on the MK3 Golf MK4 Polo handles need work to fit, so its strange if they fit straight onto an Ibiza!

I eventually sourced some rear door handles from a year 2000 polo - they came colour coded bright yellow, no locks, exactly the same shape as the standard ibiza ones, not square golf ones as above. they fitted on perfectly, they are exactly the same and now i have them in kiwi, they look great! Good mod for £30
