Sound Actuator for 1.4?

Hi,
I've seen already a thread about that, but actually no one answered that.

So: is there a way to install a Sound Actuator to 1.4?

I know that this sound is fake, and thats bad and all. Still though - I'd love to have one. Because switching modes in 1.4 honestly does nothing. The steering may be sharper, but that's it. That's all of the sportiness I can get.
Sure, I can either buy a custom exhaust, but that can cost around 1/10th of a current car value. No thanks or go for an active exhaust. Which is the same, but worse and many times more expensive.

I've seen some modules on ebay, but only the hockey puck thingy. Do I need anything else?
Can someone point me where exactly this thing is in the dash? Preferably maybe a Cupra or 1.8 TSI owner would give ma a photo...

Really? Plenty of people on here desperate to turn off the actuator not add one.

Sport mode sharpens up throttle response and makes steering heavier giving more feel in the corners.

I agree with the above post, the soundaktor is a nuisance! Most of us find the cable (behind the wipers) and unplug the bloody thing! Other folk will disable it via OBD etc. It does not do the car any good.

Why not just download some decent engine noises ( V8, V12 maybe a Merlin) onto MP3 and play them at suitable points? You can imagine you are Biggles... Or just play decent music, coz believe me, the sound thingy WILL get on your tits after a while. and you'll be the only one who's tits it's getting on. No one outside will notice. At least with an exhaust you can share the racket...:D

Which 1.4 are you talking about? 125, 140 or the 150?

I have the 150 and even that I would like an custom exhaust, mine still beefs up with the standard.

So - is there a better way to actually have a better/more aggressive sound on demand?
Meaning - I can install a Civic giant fart tube, great. The sound is as real as possible.
But after third hour of driving, I'd stab myself in both ears, the sound is so annoying. After all it isn't a mighty V8.

So yeah. I'm looking for a solution to make my car "sportier" with a click of a button.

The soundaktor made me feel physically ill, it was so weird. Bloody hard to unplug as I have big hands but I managed it.

Does the 1.4 TSI 150 have a soundaktor? I was looking early but I couldn't seem to find it?

Until now, I thought the actuator was only in the the diesel FR until 2014 :

Here's Automann-TV with a 2014 Golf GTD (Soundaktor fitted as standard) which will give you an idea of what it sounds like. I'll be honest, I fancied one for my FR184 because I couldn't hear the engine pitch over the road noise. Replaced the tyres instead. The factory-fitted tyres were awful.
