Someone Round Here Doesn't Like Kiwi Yellow

I live in a nice quiet corner of West Sussex. My Evo has been parked on my drive at night for the last five years and I've never had any trouble. I collected my Kiwi Yellow Ibiza 16v on Wednesday, and Saturday morning I get up to find the NSR tyre has been slashed and the rear wing has been scratched

The Evo wasn't parked on the drive at the time, but my partner's Octavia RS was parked right next to the Ibiza, and they didn't touch that. I know that Kiwi Yellow is a 'Marmite' colour, but I didn't realise it was going to be quite this bad

Maybe the previous owner of the car had a bit of 'history'?
No excuse for it though and it makes my blood boil.

I went to look at a Kiwi mk2 some years ago and that had suffered vandal scratches too. Shame really as it was a nice tidy Plus model.

your right on the 'marmite' bit, cant stand the colour, but still i would never do this because of the colour lol, u might have bought it dirt cheap so the previous owner came to get some more money from you lol

Thanks for the sympathy. The previous owner lives 60 miles away from me, so it's unlikely that anyone round here has a beef with him.

TBH, I'm glad it was the Ibiza and not the Evo that was targeted. I had a spare tyre in the garage which has now been fitted, and the scratch is not so bad that it needs to be sorted immediately. If it had been the Evo, I would have had to buy a new tyre, and it would have had to go to the body shop before I could sell it, so that would have been extra expense.
