Model Year 23/24 Cupra Formentor

Hi guys, Ive been having issues parking on my drive. It is the same as parallel parking but onto my drive.
Had a BMW X1 until Oct 24 and had no issues at all parking there, as fast as I wanted too!
The Formentor has frightened the life out of my wife and myself and passengeres by slamming on the brakes mid manouvre! Wow! 4 times this happened until i turned off the anti swerve system.
All good until this morning.
Whilst driving up a hill near me it has a bit of a bend, on it, but not that much, however all my wheels suddenly lock up and I became the passenger! and the car lurched into the oncoming lane.
Im absolutely fuming, this 2024 Formentor is seriously dangerous. If there was any oncoming traffic it would have been head on collision and disastor!
Has anyone else suffered at the hands of Cupra?

Wow scary stuff. Mines a 22 plate and never had the car lock up like that while driving.
Used to see a lot of peeps complaining about lane assist steering them into traffic but mine is quiet gentle and never been an issue.
Regarding the parking, whilst I don't use the auto park, I have found the car stopping dead while reversing. Thought I'd hit something a couple of times but no. I worked out that while reversing just cover the brake so the brake lights are on and it must overcome the emergency braking as its never happened again.

My car has occasionally braked because the parking sensors picked up a 'ghost'. Struggling to understand how the car veered into another lane, one for the dealer.

That sounds terrifying! The emergency braking system seems overly aggressive. Have you reported it to CUPRA or your dealer? Could be a faulty sensor. Stay safe!

If the two side radars see car or human passing near at both directions then the emergency brake assist slam the brakes if you go to fast , thats how it works
