Remember that on the rear you can go up to 20mm wider, and the front roughly 10mm (I wouldn't go this as you can't get them hub-centric and you get alot of wobble). 6mm on the front you can fit without wobble as the hub sticks out still and your wheel can sit on it. Unless you go 15mm which you can get hub-centric.

I've got 20mm spacers on the back atm the H&R hubcentric ones.

I'm thinking should I test these on the front and see what it looks like, don't want them to stick out to much. Maybe I can get away with just some 5mm H&R spacers on the front hummmm

How does it sit at the back or have you not tried?

Try them on the front yeah. I don't think 5mm will be big enough, might be but on full lock I'm not convinced!!

If you are going to go for them go to venom and you get them for sub £20 ;) FK spacers as well!

I was going to fit them but rota were ment to send me the spigot rings today but they havn't turned up :ban:

So I still need to trial fit them, I did have a look with them on the front roughly and I think 10mm should be ok but I don't want wobble :cartman: so need to rethink

I will test the 20mm spacers to see how much room they give me and how much I can afford to lose.

Ill have a look at venom now, cheers mate :)

Is anyone running 17 x 7.5 with ET45 wrapped in 205/17/40

I did a search but no one seems to be running ET45 with 7.5'' only ET38 with 7.5'' so im guessing a 8mm spacer will do.

I will measure the hubs lip tomorrow to see if it will still stick out past the 8mm spacer, unless anyone knows how long it is? I know ibiza125 said 6mm will be OK but 8mm to much?

If not will have to be the 11mm spacers which are hub centric but might stick out to much.

bloody wheels.

OK guys wheels are fitted, see the pictures.

Front

Currently the setup is 20mm rear spacers and wheels fit perfect can't see any problems. Front setup is just wheels bolted to the hubs. Everything seems to be ok though no touching in the arch on full lock etc no rubbing on any pipe lines nata.

My question is what should I actually be looking for thats rubbing? Will the fitment become obvious when the car is only in motion? Sitting still no rubbing will take place only when I actually try to drive?

any help would be great guys as I want to either fit them tonight or order the front spacers tonight.

Really need side on pictures to see what they are like. Basically measure how much room there is between the wheel and arch and get some spacers to fill the gap!

You will notice rubbing more when driving, but you should be able to put your hand behind on full lock and see how much room there is.

My garage is small :( and can't get the proper angle pictures.

I will put the other wheels on now and go to a car park to get some pictures.

When it was on full lock I could run my hand easily between the arch and the wheel so Im guess it will be ok. Im gona order 5mm spacers though just to be safe.

Cheers for the info ibiza125 its much appreciated
