I know the feeling mate, mine was the same until i sorted it. All i did was pencil round the parts of the bumper which needed trimming. I then used some very fine sandpaper and evenly began to sand the edges down. Sounds nasty and cheap i know but has actually came up very well :)
Took me a good 3-4 hours from start to finish. Obviously took the bumper off and worked on it from both front and back to get the whole bumper matching. There was 1 or 2 places where i had to touch up the paint on the bumper but in all honesty you cant notice because they were on the inside edge of the bumper so are not on view from the front. All in all in my opinion mine looks fine and im really happy with the finished job.

Hope that helps mate,

Sonley

The green pad was used as a finishing pad to smooth off any rough edges :D
