Hey Guys,

For the past week or so ive noticed a slight knocking noise when driving along the road.. the knocks are fairly close together and not that loud. They are more noticible when driving on bad quality roads.

When you open the drivers door and stand on side and make the car bounce there is a creaking noise, but i dont know if this is the front or rear.I had the rear shocks replaced under warranty about 4,000 miles ago.

There also seems to be slightly less grip at the front at slow speeds. even coming out of my drive the car seems to slip a little and you get some vibration back through the wheel.

Ive got 2 bridgestone s03's on the front with plenty of grip (copper told me they where legal and i had loads left the other day) but im getting some Good Year Eagle F1's fitted Monday.

Does anyone have any ideas, or could it just be the cold?

I had a front drop link replaced on mine (nearside), used to knock at low speed over bumps and when setting off/ stopping.

Annoyed the hell out of me for the first 12 months of owning the car, but everythings fine now.

I had a knocking noise coming from the offside front wheel, i thought it may have been a driveshaft but turned out to be a track rod end, got it replaced under warranty 2 weeks ago, get it to ur Seat garage and get them to check it out :)
