Hey!
Long story but over a year ago I had a dent pulled from my drivers side rear door. The dent was removed but a flex (where the dent has stretched the panel) in the panel can still be seen when standing at an angle. The flex is only minimal but to me it’s very noticeable (I’m a perfectionist).
Now I'm wondering whether a body shop will be able to remove the flex completely with filler and a paint blend or whether a new door/door skin will be required? I really want the car to be mint again but because the flex is high up the door (it was hit by a neighbours 4x4) its directly in the line of sight.
I guess my question is it possible to remove panel distortion with filler and if so can the issue be corrected 100% (without the need to have a new door)?
Here's a pic of the original dent for those that are interested...
Looks only small in the pics but the first set of PDR guys that came out to fix it actually made it worse (hence the reason for the panel flex)
Thanks
Alex
