Size of bolts for 15mm spacers?

Hi,
Fitting some 15mm spacers(per side) to the rear of my car,what size of bolt will i need?Will need to get a pair of locking nuts too.

Take a wheel bolt out and it needs to be 15mm longer,

thread size is M12x 1.25 assuming mk2 & 3 Ibiza fitment

thanks stu,heard that m14 x 1.5 is the s3 fitment. 27mm is standard so i guess i need 42mm or near as.

27mm is awfully short for a wheel bolt

I'd whip one out and double check.

i read somewhere you need at least 7 turns/threads to be safe

std mk4 golf ones are 25mm thread. short I know but its how they came.

depends on wheel boss thickness as well I guess.

standard bolt thread for my leon was a 25mm with a M12 profile i think.

For 20mm spacers i have at the back, i use 45mm bolts ...and for the 10mm spacers up front i have 35mm bolts

...so i assume for 15mm spacers you need 40mm Bolts... Mathematic God, i'm here all week....

....LOL. i guess it depends on how long your standard bolts are then add 15mm!? Have you not got spare ones in the boot well tool kit you could measure?

yep, m14 x1.5 i need 42mm shaft length,working on it.

I have 50mm ones in stock which can be shortened. radius and taper seat type @ £2/bolt+vat & delivery

Does that mean i have to get a hacksaw out? fixed or loose radius?17mm?

fixed, forged ones in i think 17mm but might be 19mm's
