Ok, for those who have chnage their LCAs/wishbones, I have a question.

Is the front bush part a tight squeeze? I just want to be 100% sure of my memory of when I fitted mine (and yes, I'm prepared for the jokes about the question)

The front bush is tight, NOT AS TIGHT AS THE REAR!

Actually no, I'd say it's just a bit more awkward to get it in the rear, especially when you've done the front first.

What were we talking about again?

OK - so being dead serious now, it is a tight fit. I found I had to almost force it in, which I put down to the new bushes, but it definitely took some effort and a bit of manipulation. It was hard to get out as well, which suggests that even when the bushes are worn, it's still very tight.

It makes sense though - even though the rear bolt stops most of any back and forth movement there's ever likely to be, you don't want any slop in the front either.

Yup, I laughed 🤣

Cool, I thought I remembered it being snug enough that once in it happily held itself in place without a bolt.

Cheers 👍

Isn't half the battle getting it off without snapping? Replacing the bush is a bit moot if it snaps when you take it off 😀

Don't get me started - when I undid mine, the garage before had done it so tight that when it backed off, it probably set off the earthquake sensors. I just stopped what I was doing, packed up my tools and went indoors.

When I finally summoned up the courage to go back out and deal with it, it turned out it was actually OK. That's what led to my car mantra - 'expect the worst'.
