Side Skirts

Has anybody brought the side skirts from SEAT, and did they come ready painted, how easy are they to fit ?. The SEAT site tells you the price but not much else

They come primed only. You will need to get them painted (best by a pro bodyshop) and fitted by a stealer (if you want warranty)

If you are thinking about side skirts shop around at different dealers.The dealer i bought my cupra from were quoting £400+ fitted etc however a dealer in manchester did the job for just over £300.

Do you know what colour primer they use?
I saw a white Cupra with them at a dealer the other day and the colour of the skirts looked a bit different to the rest of the car. I'm wondering if it hadn't been painted yet?

Hi all, just bought set of side skirts from stealer in coventry cost me £180 inc vat, they come grey primed, quote from listers bodyshop for paint & fit £369 inc vat which i think is a bit steep.Trying to find a better price within coventry area so if anyone knows a good bodyshop nearish to coventry please let me know.Had quote from bodyshop in birmingham of £220ish plus vat does anyone whos had them fitted think this is a decent price?

Whereabouts in Coventry did you buy the skirts as my stealer near me Wolverhampton wanted £200 I thought the seat prices were the same APPEARS NOT TO BE THE CASE

hi, .yes cuprar30 was right it was Listers in cheylesmore coventry , that is listers bodyshop, i bought the skirts myself from listers dealership in binley coventry. Will get in touch with dealer in wolverhampton to see if he can give me a better price though £200 sounds a better price considering it is a dealer aswell, will ring them now to see what they say cheers

When i said i paid £180 inc vat they did give me a small discount otherwise it would have been £200, reason for discount was told originally that it was £170 inc vat, so when i went to collect them moaned a bit and he gave me discount. Rang Barlows of wolverhampton today they estimate £250 for paint and fit plus vat still ringing round trying to find better price but goes to show not all dealers charge same prices for same jobs.

Taking car into City Centre Car Care Company Birmingham on friday to have side skirts painted and fitted price £220 plus vat. Hope they make a decent job of them, was given number by colliers seat who use them for their body jobs so should be half descent. Total price with buying, paint and fit £438.50.
