Side Bumpers :)

Hi there everyone

I have a mk 4 ibiza, just wondering if its possible to buy colour coded side bumpers. Mine are the standard plastic black, just wondering if i could get them in the delfin grey?

Also i wouldn't mind some wing mirror covers in the same colour, anyone know where i can find some?

Your best bet is to buy some replacement ones and get them professionally colour coded mate! It is really easy to break the side strips when getting them off the car. The mirror covers are easier to get off but you might not like the finish so I would also get replacement ones and paint those.

As for the mirror covers, you can easily get them off... just be gentle

Yep, but they might be expensive! Try phoning all your local dealers as I find there can be a massive difference in prices. Also you could look at local scrapyards to see if they have anything, and it would give you some practise taking them off for when you do yours

You can try asking David from Sere on here for prices as he's normally pretty reasonable.

Its my first car and i'm only 17. Just don't know what too do, or where to start haha.

I've fitted a sound system but just want something on the exterior now

Glad to help If you want to save a it of money you could try spraying them yourself. Just sand them down, use some bumper filler, sand that down and then spray them using some touch up cans from your local auto factors. It takes a bit of practice to get a good finish with the spray cans, but ive done several things now, from wheels to the gear surround, and am getting quite good. Just an idea if you want to do it your self, as I find its more satisfying than having someone do all the work for you. Also you learn new skills, and its cheaper

I found a place on ebay that sells the mirror covers, search for item number 380082746924.
Only £7.99 per side, this item number is for the RHS one, have a look in their shop for the LHS one.

I got mine from David @ Sere £19 all in for all four bits.

Just waiting to get them sanded/sprayed etc.
