Ice I thought it must be, I'd love to make one like that but not sure in reality it would be practical... it would take me forever!

James, thats the sort of thing I've been thinking of. Are you at uni in reading?

Back in the day (i.e. the 80s!) we had parcel shelfs full of these. I had 4 at one point, not held down with anything. Had an accident and they all hit my mate in the head!!!

Hi Guys,

Just looking for a bit of help / advice...

In my old car, I had a sub set up.

That was the speaker, and the amp, all hooked up correctly and working fine.

- Power Lead for the Battery
- Remote lead from the Head Unit
- Earth
- Speaker Cables from the Stereo

However, Having a few problems in my Leon...

When I take the keys out, the power light on the amp will not go out.
So it looks like it's still drawing power from the battery...

It's supposed to turn off when the ignition is off, and keys are out.

I have everything setup exactally the same as i did in my old Nissan.

Any help / suggestions to get this working?

Does your headunit go off completely when you take keys out? Can you turn headunit back on without no keys?

Sure you have got the remote wire wired up to the correct wire on headunit?
