Whats the trimsport one like once fitted, did it make a difference handling wise.

Have you got any pics of it fitted as just searching the net for a rear strutbrace now that doesn't require drilling and there aren't many options available.
Trimsport appear to be one of the few that do rear ones needing no drilling.

i know a company that makes a upper rear strutbrace. I hav one at the mo, only problem is the adjuster in the middle that takes up th slack in the brace has seized and i cant move it! i rang up the company an they said that they no longer stock the struct brace and in order to get them to get another batch in i would need to get 10 people who r willing to order!

They fit alright, the one i had was a bit squeaky though, got a bit annoying but i lived with it! I put the cage in too high and it rubbed on my roof plastics but i just moved it down a bit using the seat belt height adjuster things and it was fine!
Is there none on ssc or any forums like that?

Ive sold the rear brace a few weeks ago!

I've got a polished rear strut brace. about 50 quid on ebay. Got the RAID adjustable 6N polo one. Does hardly anything for handling, your better off gettin spacers if you havent got those already.

Seriously tempted by a 106/saxo cage for the show season, 135 quid delivred is tempting.

Whats this place coming to?! First wooshy dv's, now show cages :-o lol

Never seen the point in a show cage tbh, imo they stand out a mile off as just being a show cage. Seen too many Saxos/106's/Fiesta's etc with them. Pointless added weight which makes rear seat useless (much like my audio setup  ) Each to their own though i guess. ;)

That said, i did think about getting a proper bolt/weld in cage a while back (just for show). But lost interest in the idea quite quickly due to having to start hacking and welding my interior ;) Quite surprised that Saxo/106 cages fit tbh.

Think of the weight that would have added, just being for show!

The audio route is one i wish i had never done now but ive learnt and i wont be doing it again, but i do see why people do it!
