Short shift?

The part number for TT shifter is 8N0 711 051 B and is supposed to be the same in Leon Curpa R. Compared to stock it's supposed to shorten about 15-20mm on the gearshift travel.

The Cupra R shift OE is very long, I drove a standard car the other day and had forgotten how good the short shift is.

I use the EIP version which does make the gearbox a little notchy but I like it.

could some one take a pic of an LCR or leon tdi shifter ( any 6 speed basically) to see if they match the ibiza

Does the Ibiza tdi Cupra have shorter shifter movements than normal 6-speed tdi Ibiza? We don't have the cupra here, so no chance to test...
