I've recently had my car serviced, moved away from main dealer given the milage and age - just getting recomended items done by my local mechanic nowadays!
Anyway, 'Service Now!' message has began to appear on the instrument cluster and radio unit, I thought it could just be reset with a combination of buttons etc but following the standard instructions of holding the trip 0 and switching on the ignition hasn't seemed to work...
I do get a 'Reset Service?' and when I press the 0 again I get a "Service Reset!' message but then it instantly goes back to saying 'Service Now!'
Looking at the service menu, it says maintence service 9200miles/365 days (I assume thats what I've reset) and 'Inspection Service' 200 miles past due.
After a resonable look on google I've found nothing that seems to work, including holding the trip reset button down, doing this with the hazard lights on etc. Does anyone have any idea how to reset this, other than with VCDS or OBDEleven?
