sometimes can stop at a juction and wiv the clutch in it ticks over at 1500 but if i release the clutch while im still stationary the revs go up to 3500??
Strange one that. It shouldn't be idling at 1500rpm (about 800rpm) and you're saying that when you lift the pedal up, the revs go up to 3500rpm and try to pull the car if in gear?
Hopefully someone can help here but i'd check the clutch position sensor perhaps?
isnt there some sort of anti-stall on the leon? i remember driving in snow one year and having to try and set off using just the engine tick over as using any throttle at all would have the wheels spinning. the engine seemed to blip itself over and over until i dipped the clutch back in or hit the gas. i had a green open cone and 007p at the time so all you could hear at 2am in a quite street was vroom-tsh-vroom-tsh, was mad
hi i have the same problem, mine is going to amd on friday to hopefully get fixed. only had it a month!!! i can get my revs down 800 rpm by pulling the accelerator pedal out ( very stange ) but it dont stay there.
