Seized ABS sensor

Folks, I've had an intermittent ABS sensor fault on my front O/S for a little while. Just got round to buying a replacement sensor, but I can't get the old one out! I've taken the bolt out, but the sensor won't budge from its mounting. I've tried giving it a bit of persuasion with some water pump pliers, but to no avail. I guess the solution is to smack it from the sensor end, but to do that I'd need to get the disc and sensor ring off. Am I missing anything? Any ideas?

I've not squirted any oil in there - bit paranoid about getting some on the disc!

hammer / screwdriver & get destructive on it. smack it to bits from the 'back' side, and just remove it in bits

You'll want to remove the disc for access

I had to smash mine to bits to get it out..took ages!

You wouldn't happen to know what the fault code for the ABS sensor fault would you?

put the screw driver pointing down and cut it in half then hit it through that's the best way i find lol
