Hey guys, just after a little bit of info, im lookin to get a new disklock type steering lock, and any other security thats good for the car.

Im not sure whether the Disklock is still the best available security device, so any help would be appreciated.

Also, i've got 15mm spacers on the back, and have tried searching ( i know there were previous threads, just cant find them) for the place to get the longer wheel bolts from.
And what size i'd be after.

Hope you can help, as there are some pikey fukkers, stealing all sorts from work car park!
Bloke last week chased a few blokes and a van away, after he looked out of the window, to see two blokes picking up his 4 day old motorbike, and putting it in the back of a van. Luckily he got out there, before they nicked it.
But they dropped it and run off! Luckily there aint much damage.

Any ideas, cheers Guys

There's never anything in the car, so i aint worried about thingsy being stolen, other than the car or the wheels.

Just found out there's been another break in.

There's a few pieces of wood in the office, so i can batter them with, but i want to deter them aswell.

Flash half my mod list aint fitted.

I only ever post my location, ie cardiff, when in reality i live 30 mins from cardiff.
Never post the actual town i live in. (well dont think i do)

I aint worried about security at my house, as the cars on a locked drive, but just while its at work, because there have been a few break in's lately.
Mainly looking for sat nav, etc, none of which i have.

I just know i need to sort out the longer locking wheel nuts, and the disklock type security is to help deter any would be crims, and as i use my missus car, as an additional security device (blocking the locked gates) i've givne her the disklock i have at present. So i was looking to get a new one for myself.

I did read somewhere that the police were selling disklocks cheaper, but cant find anything on it on the net.

why ya not get either a tracker or decent alarm on the car , my alarm sends a txt message to me if any of the sensors get activated or if the alarm goes of , also as it works on a sim card it will send it to me no matter how far from the car i am , also i can set the alarm by the phone and do a few other things wid it as wel

we supply the toad text alert in uplands, awesome bit of bit, works on the basis of a built in orange sim card which you top up on a pre pay scheme and it uses the credit to text you when the alarm sends it a trigger signal, 200quid fitted on top of a alarm

yeah it can be wiring as a standalone unit, also possible to wire it using diodes from the indicator curcuit, you can also text the unit with comands such as valet mode etc, good piece of kit, i'll check the retail without fitting wednesday for you, im not back in work til then!
