just tried this and it works on mine. if you want to go back to the standard display how do you do it?

Why would the climate control system need to know those values? What you're seeing are the sensor inputs that the climate control needs to work with, and coolant temperature is one of these. Because it gets a feed from the ECU, the climate control screen shows the accurate value for coolant temperature, not the crude one sent to the dash needle.

Oil temperature and pressure are not measured in any of the standard Leon/Toledo engines. The oil pressure sensor is a switch which gets made if the oil pressure drops too low. In the rare cases when a temperature sensor is fitted (Some cars with long-life servicing, most LCR's, I think) again its a switch indicating "too hot", combined with a level sensor for "too low". No precise measurement unless you fit your own sensors and gauges.

Boost (manifold absolute pressure) is measured and presented to the ECU, and can be got out with something like VAG-com.
