Sent IMG Warrington an e-mail 6 days ago enquiring as to whether a particular model Leon was available for inspection.So far no response.If they can't be bothered to reply then I can't be bothered to buy from them.

Yes I can sympathise with you lfc4me. They are extremely slow and I have already heard some excuses as to why this is but I'm sure they have been trained in the art of courtesy calls and emails. Courtesy calls or emails can keep us informed as to the progress of matters even if there hasn't been much progress. If nothing else you know they haven't just forgot about you. :doh:

I bought my Leon Stylance from IMG in January this year and had a terrible time with them. To be fair I think I bought it from the work experience kid who I think has now left but he didn't have a clue, quoted wrong prices and mis-information and then messed up everything he could when I picked the car up so was not impressed at all. Lucky for him he didn't have to sell the car to me cos I already knew I was gonna buy it.

Have only been back to ask about a replacement key (mine broke) and they weren't very helpful or knowledgable, even though it's only a small problem. Plus I've got the questionnaire here to send back to SEAT about them hahaha.

I'm already thinking about upgrading to a K1 in September but gonna try the new Liverpool SEAT dealer before I go back to Warrington.

haha this is typical no reply to anything on this thread since May 07!oh well good to see they have made an effort!!one reason i ended up with the Astra 2 weeks ago was because they didnt ring me back with some info on a mk2 leon!!

Give Irfan a call at seatcarsdirect in this section. Gave me an awesome deal (and if you want your car in september you'll have to do it soon). Also have a good guy for finance if you're interested.

I went in to Liverpool a few weeks ago and was well impressed with the service, great bunch of people. I couldn't get there this weekend just gone when Darren Turner was there, I was gutted but couldn't get out of work. I'll be back at Liverpool soon for my ipod connector, does that 10% discount apply to labour cost to??? :)

Spoke to Paul McKenna the parts advisor, top guy.

Went into the one in warrington, parts bloke was a top guy and knew exactly what i wanted (Leon cupra splitter)

Also went in towards the end of march for a glovebox light and all the gubbins, went in the next day as i was passing and it was all there waiting for me

So far so good with this place, Miles better than the local citroen place i used for my other car [B)]

Had a bizarre time with IMG, it was almost like they didn't want to sell me a car.

Initial e-mails and brochure requests were ignored so I phoned them. The guy on the phone was nice enough but they didn't have the car I wanted to test drive in stock and getting one could cost £400. He said he'd phone back after he'd asked his boss.

A week later and no phone call, so I phoned them. Receptionist said the salesman was out of the garage at a car show, he'd call me back. Another week of ignored e-mails goes by, call IMG again, salesman hasn't phoned as he doesn't work at IMG anymore. New guy says he'll get back to me..........

3 months later the second guy calls me back and is surprised to find out that I've bought from another dealer.........................
