seat release handle mod

im looking to make an alloy cover for the seat release catch on the cupra to add a bit of alloy to the cabin, i wondered if anyone could help me by making a mould of the origional somehow, or tell me how to do so, ive not a clue what to use to make the copy of it, and any other ideas for parts too would be appreciated ,

Which bit do you mean out of interest? The bit on the side to pop the seat forward?

i think so but would be hard to make imo. if you know someone who is a dab hand with c.a.d. (cough cough philw) maybe easier

yeah thats the part im lucky my uncle is a cad operative too if phil cant make one or someone else cant, just need some ideas on how to make the mould and nope mat playdoh wont work lol
