is there any limit to how many laps u can do?

There's a time limit for each exercise before you have to move to a different part of the track. Everyone isn't doing the same thing at the same time so there may only be 2 cars doing the circuit at any one time while other's are in the slalom etc. If you only have 2 people in the car, you'll get more laps than if 3 are sharing it of course. There may also be time at the end to go back and get a few more laps in.

there are 6 excercises in total, and we got at least 3 goes at each one. we did one of the excercises twice in leiu of a tea/toilet break.

on the track we got 3 laps practice and then another 3 laps once the telmetrics widget is fitted. the track isnt huge, it takes around 80-90 seconds to drive around depending on your driving 'style!!'

hi, just back from elvington on what can only be described as one of, if not the best freebie ive ever had.

much sqealing of tyres and fun was had by all, and may i be the first to congratulate cupra r on his performance in the telemetrics excersize/thash .

for anyone still undecided as to wether or not they should go, GO, you cannot fail to have a great time. and the foods good too.

it gives you a massive appreciation of how the car helps you drive, and what to do when you push it that little bit too far. its great for inspiring confidence in our cars. when were every day driving were only scraping the surface of the iceberg as far as what the car is capable of.

thanks seat!

Thanks Chris.[B)] was nice to meet you mate, and Phil. Was a great day out, really enjoyed it.

It was a very well organised and executed day out of which I would like to thank Seat very much. A little more time on the track would of been nice, but the time just flew by before you knew it. The braking exercise was good too, especially when only using finger tips:whistle:

Hope you all got home safely.

Oh, and come on Seat, some more of the same please :)

I agree it was an excellent day and it was great to meet Chris and Cupra R.

As Chris said earlier if you haven't booked on it and have chance, do it even if it means a long trip down the motorway.

The driving events were great fun and our instructor knew his stuff, apart from the one slight misshap... but it was all good fun. :D

Nothing major the instrictor just went into one of exercises a bit too enthusiasticly and sent the car spinning for a short time. Had every confidence in the instructor though and he quickly sorted it out. His colleagues were asking him what happened though... I think ESP was off at the time as well.

LOL, yep, ESP was definately off. If it had of been on, then that was one seriously malfunctioning Leon. A very good example of "Lift off oversteer"

I just remember alot of schreaching, and being thrown around a little. There was definately an inquest into what had happened afterwards lol, and then Phil's comment "not quite so lairy"

I remember too well your burnout filling the cabin with blue smoke and tyre fumes lol.

Yeah, it was a bit smokey in there... Sorry about that...

I bet Pirelli made a few quid that day...

I tell you what though, got into my car and instantly adjusted the seating position to the way he taught us. Learnt quite a lot that day.

Anyone got the number to hand?

Tried calling the dealer and the CS line and they are harping on about how they cannot provide it to me without a call back.

Thanks
