Hey, just thought I'd show off my 8valver

It's the 2nd one I've owned. My 1st was a copper one I owned about 10 years ago which I wish I'd never got rid of, it only had 90k on the clock and to the best of my knowledge it never got back on the road, I traded it in for a 55 plate Leon 1.9tdi fr at my local seat dealer.

I managed to get this one with only 44k miles on it but no service history. 1st thing to sort out was 4 big holes in the floor so had those welded up, got it serviced and the cam belt done. Then when it was parked someone crashed into the drivers door and wing so had to get those fixed and had the wheels reconditioned at the same time. It is totally standard and I plan to keep it that way, even has the original seat head unit fitted.

Thought id do my first post my mk2 ibiza gti 16v, picked it up back in November 2017, plans are to return it back to factory spec, not a bad find i think low milage only 78k on the clock

Yeah running I just got it trailered down to save me the long round trip!

Caged & stripped. Track day only car.

Had one of these a few years ago loved it and been waiting for another one to turn up at the right time.

Oct 8th is set for its first shake down.

Where'd you get that front grille? I'm looking for something similar for my 1.4. It's not a fast car by any means, but I at least want to get the badge off the front!
