Seat Leon - New keys

Hi all,

I lost my key a few weeks ago and the spare key didn't work so had to get the car picked up and taken to a local dealer. I was told it would take around 2-3 weeks for a new key to be delivered and it's now been over 3 weeks. I spoke with Seat and they said they can't tell me when the key will arrive and that it's on backorder. Just wondering if anyone knows how long this normally takes or has dealt with this before? No one seems to be bothered at the garage or Seat and I just keep getting told it will arrive when it arrives and I have this horrible feeling it's going to be weeks until it does!

Nope, 6 weeks now. Seat have also refused to give me a courtesy car as they say it’s still drivable. No one has any idea on when the key will be ready.

That's just ridiculous...for a 'key'. One of my remotes doesn't lock/unlock and the dealer has ordered a new one. If I wait 6 weeks they can have the car back! Can't program Primary User, can't update navigation maps, no navigation traffic warnings, Connect app registration incomplete. Technology may be better but the support is cr4p.
