Seat leon 1.9 tdi 150 fr engine problem
Wondering if any body can help

had my Seat leon 1.9 tdi 150 fr for over 5 years 61000miles and i have a strange problem

The problem is like a sticking throttle cable or return spring which they dont have

when i accererate and then go to change up or down the revs seem to stay or rise a wee bit from when i lift off. The higher the revs the worse the problem is

had a new clutch fitted 2 months ago so want to cure the problem before it frys the clutch

anybody else had a similer experiance

No, it didnt need it as the clutch was changed early enough that the fly wheel wasnt scortched or damaged

was trying to see if any of the vacuum pipes were broken or dislodged can see any that look out of place

There is the bottom intercooler hose next to the clutch which is passing a bit of oil and a wee bit of air so im wondering if thats the cause or the problem if its not it wont be helping.

when u say freeplay do u mean the dual mass part moving properly

never noticed any problems with the flywheel, it was in good condition and not overly stressed just felt the clutch slipping so changed it before it damaged anything else

would this problem not be all the time, my problem first happened around febuary lasted a few days and then sorted its self out

the car was running well today back to normal so its not a constant problem

the turbo is boosting up and releasing pressure very well again

where as before it was like the turbo wasnt dumping its pressure and holding it if that makes sence.

any ideas
