Hi folks, I am looking to purchase a Seat ibiza 1.2 FR 3DR, 2015 and curious about the bluetooth option. Am I able to stream music through my iphone with the bluetooth?
Hi, this will be the facelift FR with the Seat Portable System fitted on top of the dash (The Garnin). Yes you can stream music through your iPhone via Bluetooth - it's quite good quality.
I can get my phone paired with my Garmin so that I can control the play/pause, skip, etc from the Garmin but the music only ever plays through my phone, not through the car speakers.
It might be your phone, if you open the tray menu thing (swipe up from bottom) then swipe right to the music player, at the bottom it shows your current output.
I find it very hit and miss - and I've tried starting the music before the Garmin connects to it and vice Versa - it's not a very stable system - telephone function always seems fine though. Most people just put music on a memory card. I'd like to be able to steam from my absolute radio app though.
If I bluetooth music through the Garmin with my galaxy S4 I get volume increases on car speakers when phone is bieng used for calls or incoming messages. If I stop the music streaming option in my phone settings the volume works ok but when phone rings it only rings on the phone and not through the car stereo. Calls are all brought through the speakers as they should.
Very tempramnetal in my opinion and sat nav a real pain in the ass to set up.
Yeah, think I will definitely only be using it for playing music from my phone, I'll stick to my TomTom for the actual satnav, not least because that has lifetime maps, cameras, and traffic!
Just means driving with two sat navs. You've heard of 'Two Jags' Prescott, I'll be known as 'Two Navs'.

Have you tried PocketGPSworld. They supply POI sets (including speed camera warnings) works on my "freestanding" Garmin, but can't be sure it will work on your Seat one. Worth a look perhaps.
