The fact that it was missing an airbag did make me think twice but decided to go for it in the end despite this factor.

Silly really as I can't afford to brake my nose again !

....and a photograph of the car before the wheels were taken off. The car should look very different when the compomotives are back on in 2011!

okies... what made me think about air today was that as I went into the car wash, whatever it was in the middle of the track was scraping my underbelly lol + the stupid speedbumps everywhere (inc. near work!)

Plans sound good mate! I always kinda regret not trying air on my old one, was always put off by the bloke who did it to his blue one with schmidts telling me not too haha

Love them wheels, after some compomotive wheels myself, not sure if the 16's go over the seatsport brakes though. Any idea on spoke clearance from the face of the disc?

Its definitely one hell of a decisions to make with regards to air. Yeh I remember the blue Iibza on air- looked sweet. Nothing beats advice from those who have tried it haha. I'm sure he had a rayvern set-up and i've been told bad things about that kit.

Cheers dude. Yeh the 16's could be too small for your set-up. A guy on ed38 is selling the exact same th-mono set-up but in 17's....Could work :).

Sure thing Scott, wheels are off the car so only a minute job to measure. I'll send you the spec tomorrow.

Yeh i heard bad things too, especially off him  was an awesome car, sure yours will kill it aswell!

I have seen them but hes after silly money, think it was 1k last time i looked, can just get them new for that. Been looking more at the mo5's 725 delivered from Reylands and i know they will fit in 7.5 wide. Need to pay stuff off/get saving again though really. Trying really hard not to buy them

When is the air going on, do you reckon?

I'm not gonna get air for my 1.2... The plan is to get a 1.4 sportrider, (cant go too mad on due to insurance) 3dr in white, cupra bumpers all around and smooth everything off, then air :)
EDIT: a sort of idea on what i'm going for
