Hi, originally I don't have rear speakers, but I recently bought a JBL Stage 2 624 speaker set and would like to install them. I suspect the speaker cables will be present in the rear doors or do I have to manually install them? The car was manufactured in December 2012. Looking forward to any advice you can give.

I hope for your sake that I'm wrong, but I would not think that VW Group will include any extra wiring in any of their models, doing that would waste (them) money. Car production volumes are high enough for VW Group to make specific wiring harnesses for each trim level of car.

Now, maybe 50 years ago, Ford UK would include lots of cabling that might not get used, I had a 1972 Ford Escort MK1 van, it didn't have a coolant temperature gauge in its instrument panel, I bought one from a scrap yard that had come from a highish pec'd Ford Escort MK1 car, so that had a temperature gauge in it, just fitted to that van and plugged into the lead that was already there unused.

Thank you, i hope that too

anyway i will check it this weekend, we will see if there is any cable there,
furthermore, how difficult it could be to do a wiring from back door to the radio?!

I always try to add in any new wiring in a way that is the same as VW Group would have done at factory, and doing that properly can mean spending too much time getting the wires into where they need to be.
