An admission that Seat doesn't have the capability to build EVs in the short term which is also probably true why the Cupra Tavascan is built in China on capacity / cost grounds whilst the Elroq is built in Europe.

So Seat ambles along till they get that sorted out I guess. Then you get a Seat or Cupra Every1 or something and related models. Certainly that launch ellipses current Cupra EVs as that platform / tech will come across for sure. Born and Tavascan built on the current ID platform that is due to change three years down the road from now... a bump in the road.

We like to keep an eye on what the VAG brands are doing (well I do) since it's likely to come to Seat / Cupra in one form or another using the parts...
