Seat Cover fastening driving me MAD!!

Hello, I'm loving my recently bought Cupra, even though it seems to have a mind of its own and be determined to get me points on my licence...

but

I noticed the other day that the seat back cover of the front passenger seat has come unattached. Theres a join which runs along the bottom of the seat back (ie if you are sitting in the back left seat the join is above your toes)

There's a plastic 'clip' fastening that runs along the width of the bottom (a bit like those clip seal bags) and I can't get the :censored: thing to join back together... I can see it needs to be folded over on itself and stretched but without 6 pairs of hands i can't see how to join it...

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some special knack to doing it? Or am I alone in my suffering?!

The guy that retrimmed my seats said it can only be doen while the seats are out the car and upside down to gain access (arm room) to put it back on again... i know one person can do it, its just a point of who has the most will the seat or you! lol

Same thing has happend on mine, I've spent ages trying to fix it together but have never managed it , like you said you need about 6 pairs of hands, 5 of these to strectch the cover, I've given up and just let it flap about at the bottom now:cry:
