Screenwash

Ive noticed stuff on here about VAG specific screenwash, and that it should be used as it is more ifficient than 'normal' screenwash due to the nature of the system employed on the Leon.

Does anyone know where to buy such screenwash?

Dealers presumably - if so how much is it?

Other sources? Halfords? Websites?

Yes the VAG stuff has water softeners in it to stop the fan washers from clogging up. It's only avaialble from the dealer, and is quite reasonably priced (although I can't remember the exact price off the top of my head)

BUT the Halfords own brand stuff has water softeners in it too (check the lable as possibly not all the variations do) and I've had no problems using it for the last two years, and I use my washers a lot (to OCD levels some people say )

Or just use normal stuff & use deionised water, available from supermarkets..

Or....check your water hardness from the tap first.
