Haha its always a great feeling when you get a better price then from the stealers.

I know its on a different thread but regarding springs mate, let me know what prices you're being quoted. I'm a spring and suspension design engineer, and I've done work for vehicle conversions, BTCC teams - Triple Eight Race Engineering & Rob Austin Racing, F1 teams - Red bull & Team Lotus, military vehicles, etc, so on that spring thread there's noone who knows suspension better than me.

Our manufacturing plant Merwede in the Netherlands own the PI and Cobra suspension brands and manufacture the lowering kits for them. So I can give you a price for one of their kits if you want. They have all been TUV tested and approved (which is a test of the vehicle before and after the lowering kit has been fitted to make sure the vehicle performs in the same safe way).

Let me know what you decide anyway :)

I'd go for anthracite mate, in all honesty I wish I'd had my VRS wheels done the same! I suppose as they are they will stand out more when my callipers are the colour they're supposed to be!
But I think Anthracite will look great.

I'm really pleased with satin black, although I really like the anthracite, they are a bit of a pain to keep clean in weather like this but I'm well happy with the finish!

These are mine, i'd say they are quiet matt black.

There 7J wheels again buddy but the ET is different so they stick out a bit further, I remember asking when ordering them and the guy said the difference in ET over the standard Cupra alloys (ET42 iirc) is 5mm. Think Im right haha but they are definitely 7j alloys with a different ET :)

Also how you finding the Vred's?? Ive now got Falken FK452's all round and Dunlop Winter Sports 3Ds on the standard alloys.

Ahh right okay. Having a wider wheel makes them fill the arches a bit more as well from what mine look like.

Ive been putting them through there paces this last week and they hold up well to abuse and have lotsa grip compared to the Bridgestones that were on it to start with. The Bridgestones would have the TC flashing in 1st/2nd but now theres a chirp from the fronts and your away. Cant wait to see what 0-60 it will pull now. Not like a 5.7/5.6 is bad!

Mine are matte anthracite. Very happy with them.
The Borbets sit out 5mm wider over the standard Cupra alloys.

Been lurking here a couple of months since buying my 2010 Ibiza SE and i have to say those are some nice wheels, looking to get mine refurbed and powder coated and sprayed in Anthracite having seen these on a Black Ibiza. Was unsure how they would look until now.

Ive been contemplating this for the past 1 month. I really like the satin black but im wanting to get some of the exterior plastics i.e diffuser done gloss black but not sure how it will look. Also heard that satin/matte wheel are a b*tch to clean?

Judging by recent posts break dust sticks to the matt black and is a ball ache to keep looking clean, so i would say so. Anyone know how Anthracite is keeping clean or isit just as bad?
