In need of help.

Eversince fitting my samco tip to my ko3s i've been getting spiking in the boost. the map currently on the car is set at 15psi (for now) running laguna front mount cat back scorpion, forge 007pdv, filter. and now a samco tip. since fitting it and replacing a faulty n75 it runs at 15psi until i put it under load, e.g if i'm on the duel carridge way in 4th or 5th and aboiut 2200 revs boot it ,it hits 15psi then goes upto about 24psi for around 5 seconds then it dies. and runs in limp around 5psi. why would the tip casue this or is it something else.

would the incorrect spring in the dv do it.

tempted to remove it and fit the standard one back.

help please.

fitted anew n75 valve,
it was fine until the tip was fitted, then it was mapped and it still did it, fitted a new n75 which helped massivly but i'm still in the state as describe above.

as for th intercooler it was doing it before that was fitted, car was off the road a week or two.

My car did similar when i fitted my TIP.

The car ran fine with the apr chip, and all the other mods until i fitted the TIP. It did the same thing, normal = 15-16psi after TIP = 25+ psi and limp mode. Turned out the helmet that owned the car first moved the actuator but it didn't really affect the car until the TIP was fitted. Once the actuator was put back to the standard position all was fine. Hope this helps, propably won't but it's something else to check.

cheers

sorry to drag this back up again , but fitted the new samco tip last night as that was htought to be at fault. also altered the actuator 2 threads as it was slightly out.

the boost is set at 15psi for the time being until it goes back for another map to around 24psi.

it will run about 15psi for a little while fine. then if i put it under load say 3rd gear around 2k revs then acelerate upto 3k and one wards the bosst rises up and past 15 to about 24psi then sort of let s abig woosh noise and wont boost over 5psi, (limp mode?) was told its the tip not ditting right, brought a new tip fitted it, sounds better but the dump valve unde and a round 3k revs sounds like an odd chirp/blow off jap style noise. but over 3k its a half arsed tsstt, not near as loud as before, thats why i suggested the dv spring at fault.waht about the maf?

i'm going to check and replace all vac tubes 3mm? and check the brake servo pipes. anyother ideas its driving me crazy as i want the car at santapod on the 15th and it needs mapping again before then.

Help . Thanks
