Hey guys
Will be retrofitting rvc this week. Got highline camera and wiring. My question is, where in 5 door Leon I can find 12v+ in the boot?? I dont have cigarette lighter point, dont really want to tap into reverse light positive and dont too lazy to remove fusebox to stick wire where it should be... Any advice much appreciated. Many thanks

Hey
Me again:)
Sucessfully fited rvc but need some advice with coding.
So my camera stays on the screen even after disengaging reverse and putting first gear (up until certain speed reached) . Is it normal??
The other thing is that now, after I am approaching an obstacle (or manualy turn on parking sensors) OPS does not come on the screen as oppose to when I had no camera?
Can you advice please?
Many thanks:)

Hi
I have following problem with highline reverse camera. This is the camera i have ordered: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000876464428.html
Car is Seat leon mk3 (5f) ST MY2019.
Install went without problems, ground is connected in trunk, 12V is connected in fusebox with original terminal on correct place - T18, 7.5A fuse. I have connected video signal (pin6&12) and canbus (depin, bridge and repin pin6&12) to quadlock connector.
Coding was also done in modules 19, 5F and 76/10 (checked all settings from this description below the video www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKf2JdayPwI)
For 5F → adaptation → Car Function List BAP Gen2 → VPS_0x0B_msg_bus I have tried Terminal 15 and Comfort data bus.
Problem can be seen below, image is distorted black and gray, if i move something very close to camera image moves a little. In some cases some "shadows" of colored guidelines can be seen for a split second.
After 15-20seconds screen goes black, and does not return until faults are not cleared with OBD. I also have "No basic settings" fault, but i think this is not connected to first problem with distorted image (or is it?)
Have anyone had same/similar problem? How to solve it?

Best regards, T.

Of course, the camera must also be connected to the infotainment system.

Thanks for suggestions, i have today tried that setting too. Problem remains the same. I see distorted image for 15-20sec and then black screen appears. Any other idea what could be wrong?
I have checked checked wires in the quadlock connector and they look ok i think. Blue connector - added pin6 and pin12 (black and white wires added). Gray connector - repined pin6 and pin12, bridged with already connected wires. (orange-purpe wire and orange-brown wire).

Any idea what could be wrong?

White Pin 6 on T12H
Black Pin 12 on T12H
Thanks you, i have also came to same conclusion after posting here. Today I have switched the wires and everything works. Thanks for the details. Reason why rearview camera was distorted was because of wrongly connected signal cables (black and white) from camera. Black cable needs to be on pin6 (top right corner) and White cable needs to be on pin12 (bottom right corner).
Coding of Highline rearview camera will work with any of this 3 settings in adaptations ("Terminal 15", "Comfort data bus" or "Databus Infotaiment").
Location:
5F → adaptation → Car Function List BAP Gen2 → VPS_0x0B_msg_bus set any of this three ("Terminal 15", "Comfort data bus" or "Databus Infotaiment").

I wrote reply in a way if anyone else is googling for same solution they can find it faster. I have seen multiple posts where solution was switching cables. Reason for wrong placement of cables are bad instructions from the AliExpress seller.

But you should still do the assignment of the can correctly.
Yes, i have no baisc settings fault. But i have read on the internet that it is not possible to do it with OBDeleven or VCDS. I see some settings under 6C with OBDeleven under basic settings, but did not yet try to do it. Can you suggest how to do it (which software? i know i need the table with dots, which i will printout if i will be doing calibration. Is it possible to get that software on internet for "free"?)
Thaks again.

Why do you want to perform a calibration? Is it required?
No. I don't think that it is required. But you wrote about it, so i asked how could it be done, just to have information how to do it. Im just curious :) i haven't tested it yet that much if calibration is ok or not. Parameters on camera are from octavia.
