rumbling ?

FR*Man1984

time for a MINI adventure
my dad has a new Leon TDi only had it since November and it's been back twice because of the wheel barings... the car makes rumbling noises intermittently but most annoyingly becomes rather excessively loud when travelling down hill. could there be another fault that anyone else may of experienced as we're stumped really and when telling the "stealers" they seem to go dumb. the car goes in at the end of may for a full overhaul as there seems to be more faults everytime my dad drives it! cheers peeps

I still get a Volkswagen magazine and there have been mentions on there of the GTI Golfs having wheel bearings go, given that the GTI is a 'cousin' to our Leons it could be bearings.....
