shouldnt affect your insurance. My insurers are in the frame of mind that unless you increase the power you can bolt as much on as you want :)

bloody will, Insurers are not too happy about roll cages. For two reasons mainly, firstly they can give the driver a sense of being indestructable. But mainly as so many people have been injured by the roll cage during an accident, either by not wearing a seat belt or not wearing the correct sort of seatbelt, ie harness

I was just about to post about the insurance issue, they absolutley hate cages for the above mentioned reasons.

I would expect your insurance premium to increase a fair bit.

i have had a few cars with roll cages in and insured them with adrian flux and they have no problem insuring a car with a cage and was cheaper than insuring the same standard car with most other companies

I think it's just Adrian Flux being a modified car insurer. Alot of insurers wouldn't want to know with my car, but Adrian Flux gave me an excellent deal. Greenlight are meant to be good too.
