Just thinking Rob, what is your ultimate goal with the car? To make a 400 BHP monster or....?

My ultimate goal has already been achieved - to make a great all-rounder, win trophies and get a mag feature ... 2 trophies and 3 mag features later I've done it!

Now it's just trying to make tweaks here and there. I will upgrade the turbo at some point.

Winter hibernation work!

Emerging bleary-eyed from the depths of winter, thought I'd post up some new pics for '08.

Since relocating my battery to the boot, I decided to re-do my turbo inlet and intercooler pipes, they are now far, far neater, mainly thanks to the use of Revotec self-sealing hose connectors, it means you can place them anywhere to suit your setup, so all I needed for my turbo inlet was a 90 degree 76mm alloy elbow and a 45 silicone hose with 3 connectors placed to suit.

I'm also trying out a K&N Apollo CIS induction kit, with the cold-air feed being 'ram-aired' via the fog light aperture, all turned out pretty neat.

I had Forge modify a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R oil separator tank to match the VAG engine, so that's fitted now too. All my vacuum connections are now proper Earls/Goodridge fittings on a machined alloy distribution block now too.

Changed the battery connectors to heavy-duty gold ones, 300 AMP fuse to feed through to the engine bay!

I also got my trackday wheels and tyres sorted out over the winter, Compomotive's new MVS rims and Hankook R-S2 tyres.

I'm definately keeping my Borbet rims for road, shows, meets, etc. as I love the look of them.

looking good, as always. How many wheels have you had now? Compomotive's Mo's were my favourite but those new ones look fantastic too

you got any pics of the oils separator?

What'd you mean by self sealing hose connectors?
