My car (2010 Leon 1.6 Ecomotive SE) came with a RCD 310.
Giving the car its first wash I noticed the roof antenna had a GPS module at the front and when going through all the paperwork I found the original sales paperwork with a "Welcome to your new Seat Leon" leaflet which listed all the cars features and included Satellite Navigation.
Clearly someone had removed the Sat Nav unit and installed the RCD310 in its place before selling the car
I looked at a few aftermarket / Android based units but really wanted the stock look and full integration into the MFD as well as use of stock USB port so decided on either RNS 315 or RNS 510.
Managed to pickup a 2014 RNS 315 (Media System 2.2) with integrated Bluetooth and DAB including latest V7 maps off ebay which arrived this week.
Was a little worried about position in the dash as its not exactly in the line of sight. Was also worried as the car had a Bluetooth unit fitted already and from reading threads on here thought they might not work together.
Fitted last night and really impressed, obviously being an original SEAT unit it fully integrates into the MFD and gives the directions on there. Didn't have to do anything with BT, phone paired to the car as before and this immediately came up on the HU and have full access to phone book etc. I guess that's because the car was designed to take a similar unit originally?
Still need to buy/fit a DAB aerial but so far really pleased!
