Hi Adam
So you have the full facts before you decide, if you register for the forum offer the software for your car is £399.+Vat from Revo. Also you can get a Select+ Switch for £99+ Vat! Trust me our code is worth the normal price and you don’t have to take my word for it, ask someone who has it already and I am sure they will agree.

You dont have to get the D.V. but its better than the standard one, so get it if you can or put it next on the list. I went for the forge by the way.

2.0TFSI is 399 if we pay before the deadline, and not 499?

Hi, have a few questions if poss.

What gains can I expect on a 2.0 TFSI leon FR? The revo site states 70 bhp but says the initial bhp is 185 not 197bhp.

Also how does it affect mpg on petrol? I hear it improves diesel but nothing about petrol.

And finally what is a D.V.? :p

Don’t get a "to atmosphere" Dump Valve whatever you do.

A D.V. Is a diverter valve or compressor bypass valve, also known as a compressor relief valve, it is a vacuum-actuated valve designed to release pressure in the intake system of a turbocharged car when the throttle is lifted or closed. This air pressure is then re-circulated back into the system. But after the mass airflow sensor so the ECU knows it is there and accounts for it. That helps it decide on Fuelling!

Mpg and power differs between cars so get it dyno'd before and after on the same dyno if you want to know the exact gain and use your trip computer to get a rough idea on mpg. Mine on the same route was 3 better after Stage 1 and about the same as standard at Stage 2+ now. This is not scientific however and depends on the route and even what sort of fuel you use and many other factors including the driving style and settings on your software. (you can decide the latter with the switch by the way)

Also to avoid doubt you will find the offer here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=208429

The price is as I quoted only if you take up this offer. Was £499+Vat but 20% discount (£99.80) so now £399.20+Vat I am sure your dealer will call it £399+Vat.:D

That's the reason why I asked, would much prefer a closed loop valve.

How much are they to get fitted?

Very tempted by revo, was leaning towards bluefin but the fact there is a revo garage very near to me I might go for it now.

Fitting price will be down to the individual dealer so it is hard to say exactly. Ask your Revo dealer if they will do it for you and see what they say. I was lucky, Revo Kev fitted mine for free, but we stopped short of including his services in the forum offer!:D

You can get them to adjust it for you, the switch changes boost and timing it's not like you can alter the software. the setting are there to give you some flexibility on how you want the car set up. I for instance like boost 9 timing 6. although that maybe a little aggressive. :D

Yep thats it. it's worth getting the switch as you can turn it off when it goes in for service etc.

David Cook SEAT, Chadderton, Oldham, Lancashire are REVO dealers!
Wow a SEAT dealership being a REVO dealer also, best of both worlds and no need to turn off the software!!
