Reverse Light Dead :(

afternoon all!

my mrs just bought her self a 03' Ibiza she has had it 6 days and so far its had, coolent sensor, brand spanking new key and....yesterday we noticed the reverse light doesnt work!

i cant seem to find any blown fuses in the fuse board on the right off the dash (is there any more fuses lurking anywhere!?) the switch doesnt seem to be getting any power with the ignition on and in reverse?

im stumped

anyone?

The switch is on the gearbox but under all the battery gubins. New switch is about £8....

Checked the bulb?

yello!

yeah i changed the bulb, well twice i had to buy two, the swines! (they only sell em in packs of two)

im thinking it's possibly a break in the wire in the hinge of the boot lid?
