petrol and coolant go straight to max, rev counter does nothing, anyone know where it pics up its signal from? alternator or ecu? also does it only show oil temp once it is warm?

there is a black wire with a factory female spade connector in red that ends in the area behind the alternator, i have no idea where this goes if anyone can shed some light be most grateful.

Cheers

you sound like you either have an open circuit on the guages, or the guages are linked to earth. I cant help where your wires are or need to be, though you could try the signal wires for both and check for continuity to earth, that way you can at least rule that out. The fuel guage sender mind will be under the carpet under the backl seats, so you can check if thats the right wire connected.

Not loads of help, but free bump all the same
