Retrofitting folding door mirrors

Hi guys, thanks for response I've opted to try this mod next week, mirrors arrived and only 6 wires on each, 7 and 8 of the 8 pin lock don't contain wires, does anybody know what the mirror is missing that would be in this slot if anything, thanks.

Right then people, I have managed to install the mirrors and get them to work with the new switch In the door I just can't seem to get comfort closing to work when holding the key button down or one press, I have made the vcds codings in pass door elecs and driver door elecs and the set up for one click but nothing, I don't have the option for comfort folding in my settings menu on radio I don't know if that is anything to do with it or if anybody knows what I might be doing wrong or how to get that option on my radio? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok then everybody I have successfully done this mod and it's all now fully functioning thanks to everybody that has helped, if anybody else wishes to do this mod let me know and I will provide a guide from my own experiences and provide the vcds codes which you can't find on the Spanish forum that I learnt from I had to find them in golf forums.

you need to replace door unit and run cable from this unit to mirrors
