Restoring black plastic B-pillar trim (exterior)

The B-pillar trims on the (Mk3) Toledo are just soft black plastic, and mine are so faded/scratched?? they're almost grey

Is there a one-application bumper 'back-to-black' that anyone can recommend that won't turn brown and need constant maintenance?

...or a better, different solution altogether ?

Autoglym is really good. It's a green paste but works great, I use it on my LCR front splitter (the one that kisses the floor constantly) and it manages to reduce the appearance of all of the digs and scratches on it with just one coat.
It also lasts ages so you won't need to keep buying it.

Apply the autoglym stuff using a small chunk of sponge, it gets into all nooks and crannies, evens the sheen nicely and the bottle lasts a lot longer.
